We produce Longlights – Tracked Skylights – Skylights
Polycarbonate Longlights
Longlights that are mounted on roofs usually take the form of long, translucent surfaces. They perform the same functions as skylights. Rooflights can be much larger than standard skylights.
- can be large in size, up to 6m wide, unlimited in length
- reduce the costs associated with electricity expenses needed to power artificial lighting
- ensure even and comfortable lighting of the rooms above which they are installed
- improve working conditions – natural light is more friendly to people and much more pleasant than artificial light, it has a positive effect on the health, fitness and well-being of people
- they illuminate the interiors of the building more effectively than windows installed in a vertical wall, skylights get much more light inside than through traditional windows
- equipped with ventilation flaps ensure efficient ventilation of rooms
- equipped with smoke vents perform the function of smoke extraction
Longlight base
The bases of the continuous rooflights are made of galvanized steel sheet. The individual base elements are connected by means of system sheets using metric screws with a nut. The bases of skylights are adapted to be insulated from the outside with mineral wool, polystyrene or PIR foam. At the customer’s request, the base can be varnished from the outside in any color from the RAL palette.
Structurally, aluminium profiles
The construction of the Longlights is made of aluminium profiles with a high degree of prefabrication, which makes installation quick and trouble-free. The prefabrication of profiles takes place on modern digitally controlled machines. The Longlight profiles, connected to each other with appropriate fasteners, create a lightweight yet durable structure.
Longlight coverage
The covering is made of multi-chamber polycarbonate panels fixed in the aluminium system structure with aluminium profiles. A special system of profiles, seals and drainage guarantees the tightness of the Longlights. The roofing can also be made in the BROOF(t1)/NRO classification.
Smoke or ventilation vents
Longlights can be equipped with additional elements in the form of smoke or ventilation dampers. The flaps in the Longlights perform their functions with the help of appropriate actuators. A properly designed flap structure ensures the tightness of the product, even after many opening and closing cycles.
- UL 1500 rating: Can withstand upward loads
- DL 1500 class: resistance to downward loads
- SB 300 class: resistance to impact with a large soft body
- Covering made of polycarbonate with a thickness of 10, 16, 20, 21, 25, 27mm, also in accordance with the requirements of BROOF(t1)/NRO
Longlightsalso ensure fire safety by extending their capabilities with smoke dampers, which enable quick extraction of smoke and heat and safe evacuation in the event of a fire hazard. Often, due to the production processes used, it is required to use the so-called ventilation dampers to ensure proper air circulation and thus optimize working conditions and their safety. Such solutions are optimal solutions for the needs and requirements specified by both the specification of the facility, its intended use, as well as the requirements of legal regulations.

Application of Longlights
Longlights are extremely versatile and can be used in various types of buildings, from production halls and warehouses to sports facilities to schools and offices. Thanks to their design, the Longlights provide optimal dispersion of natural light, which translates into better visibility and comfort of work. In addition, the use of natural light can contribute to significant energy savings.
Comparison with alternatives
Longlights are an excellent alternative to traditional roof windows. Compared to these solutions, Longlights offer better light dispersion, which eliminates the problem of glare from the sun. In addition, thanks to the use of modern materials, such as multi-chamber polycarbonate, roof light strips are extremely durable and resistant to weather conditions. What’s more, our Longlights are available in a wide range of colors, allowing you to match them to the aesthetics of any building.
Maintenance and Maintenance Manuals
Keeping the Longlights in good condition is extremely simple. Regular cleaning of the surface of debris and leaves will ensure that natural light can penetrate the strands freely. If you need to replace components, our company offers full support and supplies all the necessary parts. Remember that regular maintenance will not only extend the life of your Longlights, but also ensure optimal lighting conditions in your building.
